My Dream

I am a dreamer. I remember as a small child, lying in my backyard, looking up into the sky and just being "gone"...daydreaming. Now that I am a little older, I still dream, but they have changed somewhat. No longer do I dream as a child (everything was possible just because it WAS), no, now I dream as many adults do--with the tips of my toes dragging the ground so as not to pick up too much speed and get out of control....BUT I AM CHANGING! You see, my dreams became bogged down with cares and worries and fears and insecurities, and in the process, they became not my dreams but other people's expectations. I did what I thought I was supposed to do. I stopped dreaming and started existing. Instead of dreaming, I started surviving. But that is no more. You see, I am dreaming again and I have decided to live out the greatest dream ever---God's dream for my life.

And I invite you to join me.
