Compelled
As the sons and daughters of God, we should daily rest in the assurance of our salvation: that this life lived on earth is only the beginning of all that we hope and live for;
At the same time, we should wrestle daily with the fact that every day, every hour and every minute, someone wakes up without that same assurance. The life they are living on this earth, is the best they will ever have. That this life- full of problems, unrest, heartache, worry, stress, anxiety, hatred, depression, oppression and the like- compared to the eternal torment of hell, is in fact, all of the heaven they will ever know.
The overflow of my heart as I REST at the feet of Jesus and dive heart-first into the RICHES of his love!

I have been silent, but I have to say this:
My prayer is that more Christians would spend less time fighting about politics and more time praying for the politicians.
It seems that we have fallen into that time-tested, age old trap : getting caught up in the natural and fighting what we see with our natural eyes instead of pulling down all of those things that exalt themselves over the knowledge of Christ.
We have once again laid down our weapons of the supernatural to fight this war. We have abandoned our positions of authority in heavenly places to roll around in the mud, stooped to name calling instead of calling those things that are not as though they are.
We have given up territory that is ours--given to us by the King of Kings-- and resorted to using our own strategies instead of following the strategy given us by the Holy Ghost: Praying in the spirit ( praying in tongues) when you don't know how to pray or what to pray for.
I can just imagine our enemy telling his minions and imps to draw back, there is no need to expend their fiery darts right now. Hold your fire, he must be saying. Take this time to rest yourselves, get some sleep, even. We will gather our strength, reinforce our troops, plan new strategies.
Rest, while we can. Our enemy it seems,has turned on itself--we don't have to fight right now. This enemy , once so strong, is doing our job for us.

Restless
Oh that I would be so at rest in my Father's arms;
Surrounded by His love-deep within His bosom;
And that within me would stir such a restlessness
because there are others who do not know such.
